HEALTH CENTER

CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

Qualifications: High school diploma/GED required. Certified as a Nursing Assistant. Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home preferred but not required. Current CPR certification and evidence of Fingerprint Clearance required. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, residents, families, visitors and work in close cooperation with the nursing staff.

FOOD SERVICE

UTILITY WORKER

Status: Non-Exempt | 1 Part Time

Days: Vary/Weekends

Hours: Vary

Qualifications: Ability to understand and follow written/oral instructions and communicate effectively in English. Previous experience preferred but not required.  Will train on-the-job. Must acquire a Food Handler’s certification from the local health department within 30 days of hire. Fundamental understanding of sanitation, cleanliness and personal hygiene. Free of any contagious diseases that may be transmitted through food or beverage substances, as specified annually in the American Disabilities Act and as evidenced by tuberculosis tests and physical examinations as required by law.

 

HEALTH CENTER COOK

Status: Non-Exempt | 1 Full Time

Days: Vary/Weekends

Hours: Vary

Qualifications: Ability to prepare and cook all foods in accordance with specified recipes and procedures, assures that foods served to residents and guests of Sierra Winds are of a high quality, meeting standards of portion, doneness, freshness and presentation, and maintains HC kitchen/main kitchen and storage areas in a clean, neat and sanitary manner in accordance with state regulations.  The HC Cook is responsible for the proper preparation of the planned menu and assists in the supervision and leadership of all kitchen employees.
