ADMIN

ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR

Status: Non-Exempt | 1 Full Time

Days: Vary/Weekends

Hours: Vary

Qualifications: Must be able to assist with coordinating activities; current events, discussion groups, cultural activities, religious services, special entertainment, and special events. Assists with the planning, development, coordination, and implementation of varying levels of activities for the IL residents. Must be willing to perform presentations in front of large groups on occasion and be proficient in PowerPoint.

MARKETING

SALES RESIDENCY COUNSELOR

Status: Exempt | 1 Full Time

Days: Typically Monday-Friday, but varies based on needs of the community

Hours: Typically 9-5 but varies based on the needs of the community

Qualifications: Must have solid presentation skills in both large groups and small groups. Strong closing skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed. The Residency Counselor is responsible for producing sales and representing the community during the sales process.

HEALTH CENTER

CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

Status: Non-Exempt | Always accepting applications

Days: Vary/Weekends

Hours: Vary

Qualifications: High school diploma/GED required. Certified as a Nursing Assistant. Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home preferred but not required. Current CPR certification and evidence of Fingerprint Clearance required. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, residents, families, visitors and work in close cooperation with the nursing staff.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Status: Non-Exempt | 1 Part Time

Days: Vary/Weekends

Hours: Vary

Qualifications: LPN or RN currently licensed by the State. Fingerprints clearance card and CPR Certification required. At least 6 months of nursing experience. Geriatric involvement is preferable. The ability to speak read and comprehend the English language. Must be able to work paying close attention to detail with frequent interruptions. Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the facility. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Status: Non-Exempt | 1 Part Time

Days: Vary/Weekends

Hours: Vary

Qualifications: Must be trained in the area of rehabilitation.  Demonstrates practical knowledge of Facility policy and procedure for Restorative Nursing. Successful completion of a State approved nursing assistant training program. Certified or eligible for certification as a Nursing Assistant. Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home necessary. Able to perform duties with a minimum of supervision.  Must have an acute sense of responsibility with a spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm conducive to rehabilitation and to growth.

FOOD SERVICE

UTILITY WORKER

Status: Non-Exempt | 1 Part Time

Days: Vary/Weekends

Hours: Vary

Qualifications: Ability to understand and follow written/oral instructions and communicate effectively in English. Previous experience preferred but not required.  Will train on-the-job. Must acquire a Food Handler’s certification from the local health department within 30 days of hire. Fundamental understanding of sanitation, cleanliness and personal hygiene. Free of any contagious diseases that may be transmitted through food or beverage substances, as specified annually in the American Disabilities Act and as evidenced by tuberculosis tests and physical examinations as required by law.

LINE COOK

Status: Non-Exempt | 1 Full Time

Days: Vary/Weekends

Hours: Vary

Qualifications: Ability to prepare and cooks all foods in accordance with specified recipes and procedures, assures that foods served to residents and guests of Sierra Winds are of a high quality, meeting standards of portion, doneness, freshness and presentation, and maintains kitchen and storage areas in a clean, neat and sanitary manner in accordance with state regulations.  The Line Cook is responsible for the proper preparation of the planned menu and assists in the supervision and leadership of all kitchen employees.
